Fees: Bank ATMs mostly add nothing; the plague is Euronet's blue boxes with painful rates and fees — walk past every one.

Safety: Belgrade at 3 am is famously relaxed — violent street crime toward visitors is rare (~1/100k homicide). The one date to plan around: derby football nights (Partizan–Red Star), when stadium districts get rowdy — the kafanas across town are your better evening anyway.

Plant-based: Same posna trick: fasting menus (prebranac beans, sarma without meat, grilled veg) are everywhere, especially Wednesdays/Fridays.

Gluten-free: Meat off the grill is GF; burek, lepinja bread and beer are not. GF shops exist in Belgrade's malls.
